It was a four-day event which was packaged to not only
celebrate her 50th birthday, but her 25 years of being in Nollywood
and making impact.
For both Gloria and her husband, Norbert Young, February
5 remains indelible in their hearts. Friends, families, colleagues and fans
gathered in Lagos to celebrate Gloria Anozie-Young who had featured in many
movies and soaps.
The first day, which was February 2, witnessed Gloria
and members of her team visiting the Iya Oloja of Lagos and interacting with
market women.
On February 3, there was an empowerment programme for market
women and the actress invited keynote speakers to the event.
A football novelty match held on February 4 and this
was preceded by a visit to a motherless babies home in Surulere Lagos.
Gloria and Norbert hosted their guests to a sumptuous
dinner on Sunday, February 5 and many of their colleagues were in attendance.
Actors who were present included, Empress Njamah, Yemi
Blaq, Hilda Dokubo, Helen Paul, Lepacious Bose, Okey Bakassi and more.
Happy birthday in arrears, Gloria.
