Another Nollywood Actress Is Dead

Exactly a month after Nollywood Yoruba actress, Mulikat Adegbola aka Ashabi Iya Adinni, died, another actress, Toyin Majekodunmi popularly known by the stage name Iya Kike has also died. She reportedly passed on today January 2, 2017. However, cause of death cannot be confirmed. She was married to actor popularly called Baba Kekere.

 

Deaths in the Yoruba movie industry especially among veteran actresses jolted many in 2016.

On November 15, Kudirat Ajimati aka Ajimat died after a brief illness. By December 3, another old hand in the Yoruba movie industry, Mulikat Adegbola aka Ashabi Iya Adinni also died. She also suffered from a brief illness, which was exactly 10 months after her husband, actor Sikiru Adeshina also known as Arakangudu died of an asthmatic attack.
