What could have gone wrong?
According to sources who spoke to Kemiashefonlovehaven, Mr. President, Muhammadu Buhari, who is known for his ‘lowly lifestyle’ is upset at events which occurred last weekend at the villa.
Though what was planned was to have a quiet Lefe ceremony, it turned the other way.
Lefe is the traditional northern gift-carrying ceremony to a bride-to-be from her in-laws.
Not only did Mr. President have the Aso Rock Villa littered with many Louis Vuitton boxes (20 of such) the Indimi’s 20-car convoy arrived with traditional drummers who they wanted to accompany them into the Villa!
Of course, they were stopped.
This, sources disclosed to KALH, sparked a row between Villa security personnel and the Indimis’ family and friends.
Also, the ladies who were bearing the gifts were reported to have said many unprintable things about the Buharis which was later relayed to the bride’s mother.
That wasn’t all.
By the time they brought in the gifts, they were asked to await the arrival of their hosts and they sat on the floor.
Not comfortable with their reception, the entourage began to grumble again of not just a bad reception but offered neither food nor water.
They were said to have also protested that the mother of the bride wasn’t present to receive them.
They never knew of the security devices in the Villa which makes it possible to hear whatever anyone utters.
By the time the First Lady came out to receive them, she was taken aback by the gifts that were brought. Before she could finish her complaint that these were too many, the Indimi’s made her realise they had more to bring especially on the wedding day which they have arranged for lorry-loads of gifts.
Aisha Buhari was said to have walked away speechless, leaving the guests there.The import of what transpired did not dawn on them till she had walked away.
Meanwhile, they had hoped that the gifts would sweep Zahra off her feet.
After she left them, in anger they also left and indeed as they left continued with their rantings. One of the Indimi girls made a post on Instagram where she alleged that the less than two years in the Villa had changed the Buharis.
She, however, deleted the post less than ten minutes later.
The boisterous groom is not left out of the drama either. Ahmed reportedly told his friends and associates the aims and objectives of marrying a Zahra Buhari.
Ahmed allegedly told friends that he needed to revive his failing business and have an oil well like his father, if he marries Zahra.
He was also alleged to have stated that everything has to be done in a hurry because he wasn’t sure Buhari would win a second term.
The voice recordings have got to the President’s table and relayed to his family.
