Today is another
wedding Saturday and as brides prepare for the church ceremony, here are
lessons from the Mountain of Fire and Miracles wedding drama that went
viral on twitter last weekend.
Hairstyle that church rejected |
Esther
Roland Gbadebo is a member of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Church and
attended the Fagba branch in Lagos. On Saturday November 12, she had her wedding
in church.
According to
the Make Up Artist, Oluwatosin Gbela, who handled Esther’s facebeat, the church
‘mummies’ were upset at Esther’s appearance.
He wrote: “The
craziest thing just happened here now. MFM mummies just cut my bride’s hair attachment
(natural hair) rubbed her eyebrows.”
He continued
on twitter: “She rubbed powder and shaped her brows but she is hairy so it
looked good. They (mummies) descended on the hairstylist for grumbling saying
she needs deliverance.”
Meanwhile,
her groom was waiting at the altar. Gbela continued on twitter: “The stylist
had to cut off the natural hair attachment. The hair was so natural and I don’t
understand what warranted the order to have it cut off.”
But the
bride repackaged before entering the reception hall! She had her facebeat,
glammed her hair and here she is.
Lesson for
brides-to-be:
Kindly adhere to church order.
If the rule is, no make-up, then do so.
If they don't want any glam hairstyle, then don't disobey!
You cannot go to Rome and behave
like a Jew.
Do have a
beautiful wedding today!
