Gabriel Igbinedion Gives Out Daughter To Ibrahim Mantu Next Week

It’s time for another lavish wedding in Benin City, Edo State as the Esama of Benin, Chief Dr. Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion  gives his daughter, Orobosa, out in marriage to Umar Mantu next Saturday, September 24, 2016. Umar Mantu is one of the sons of the former Senate President, Ibrahim Mantu.

The introduction ceremony between the two prominent families held earlier in April 2016 at the palatial Igbinedions residence in Abuja.This is obviously a way of cementing the bond of friendship between the political dynasty of the Igbinedions and Ibrahim Mantus.

Ibrahim Mantu, the groom-to-be’s father hails from Plateau State and was elected Senator nine years ago and he served as Deputy Senate President. He is also a member of the board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Orobosa is one of the daughters of Chief Igbinedion and his wife, Lady Cherry. An elated Hon Omosede Igbinedion, also a politician, who is Orobosa’s elder sister, took to Instagram, shared their pre-wedding photos and posted: “Congratulations to my sister Orobosa and her Mr. Right, Umar as they tie the knot next weekend! Let the countdown begin!”
