Tiwa Savage Makes U-Turn.. Breaks Silence, Says "Thank You" To All

Two weeks after the imbroglio caused by both she and her husband’s outbursts on social media about their failed marriage, sensational singer Tiwa Savage changed gear.

She tendered a ‘Thank You’ note to her fans and other Nigerians for, “the support and kind words during the trying times.”

In an Instagram post earlier today, she said, “From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank each and everyone of you for your support and your kind words during this trying time. Without it, I do not know how I would have made it through. Most importantly, thank you for your continued prayers for Tunji, Jamil and Myself. May God meet each and everyone of you in your time of need.”

The spat between the delectable singer and her husband and former manager, Tunji aka TeeBillz started with an Instagram post which her husband posted penultimate Thursday on his wife’s habits of neglect, infidelity and also accused the mother-in-law of witchcraft. Though he mentioned names of some top Nigerian artistes as his wife’s lovers—Tuface, Dr Sid and Don Jazzy— he opened up that his love for her made him stick to the wedlock, which was solemnised in 2014 amid pomp.

He ended his epistle with a tone which depicted suicide. Reports later said he attempted suicide on the Lekki/Ikoyi Bridge, Lagos.

Tiwa’s rebuttal came stronger less than 24 hours via a video interview with the Pulse TV.

She accused TeeBillz, the father of her son, Jamil, of doing drugs, stealing her money, infidelity and indebtedness to some sources that are on his trail.

The Internet almost went down what with reactions of fans, Nigerians and friends of the couple.

More revelations followed suit and it became messier by the day.

Both parties have been silent on the issue ever since until the ‘Thank You’ note.

Will this be the end of Tiwa-TeeBillz union?

Has TeeBillz given up on correcting whatever his wife accused him of?

Will Tiwa do a ‘make good’ of her estranged husband’s profile, which she had ‘damaged?’

Time will tell.
