It was the best any fan would expect from an actor they cherish. They were thrilled seeing him in
their home. Even the kids could not hide their joy. Everywhere was lit up with
excitement as the Bakare family welcomed award-winning actor, Odunlade Adekola to
their Ibadan abode over the weekend.
The actor had announced Mr. Deji and Mrs. Bunmi Bakare as winner of the video Couple
Contest. Odunlade and his wife, Ruth organised the contest to commemorate the 13th
anniversary of their marriage.
Though they did not announce the prizes they would give away, Odun
surprised fans and participants when he announced he would have dinner with
whoever wins the contest in their home.
Last Saturday, he kept his word.
Dressed in a dark blue shirt on jeans, Odun, as he is fondly called,
drove into the compound of the couple on Saturday evening in Ibadan where they
were all treated to sumptuous meals.
He said on his IG page, “Dinner with
the winner yesterday. We had a dinner with the couple that won the video
contest in Ibadan. It was fun with the Bakare family. They're very cool and accommodating.”
After dinner, he presented the Bakares with the award
plaque.
