He
needs not much introduction— He is Vincent
Enyeama and former captain of the Nigeria Super Eagles.Always referred
to as Africa’s finest goalkeeper, Enyeama, plays for French club side,
Lille. He hopped out of the Super Eagles after a brush
with former national coach,Sunday Oliseh.

Quite successful in his career, he says of football,
“it has always been a part of my life and as a young boy growing up in Nigeria,
I was not one of those children who wanted to become a medical doctor, engineer
or lawyer. I simply wanted to be an international footballer and I worked
towards achieving this goal.
On his 100th cap, Enyeama says, “Earning
my 100th cap in a match in Nigeria, was a thing of joy and immense pride to me;
it is a feat that words can’t convey. The height of the excitement and joy I
felt was out of this world.”
But not many knew the winning streak of the
Akwa Ibom State-born footballer—he does not joke with his family especially his
wife, Promise.

They wine, dine, go on holidays together and
he spends time with his family. He says, “Spending time with my family helps me
get over such periods.”

His wife? He sings love songs. In one of his Instagram posts, he sang Richard Marx’s, “Wherever you are, I’d be right there waiting for you.’

He’s never tired of posting his family
pictures on Instagram. That’s the sign of a happily married man.
No man wins without a good
woman at home. Enyeama’s wife, Promise, would always repost pictures of Vincent,
his team, his wins and a host of others.

Not
only that, she has
maintained a stunning figure (winning men have women who motivate them
with
great looks). A mother of three, she is devoid of bulges and flabs.
