Aftermath Of Dating KCee: Fan Urges Actress Ebube Nwagbo To Get Married

The attacks on celebrities by trolls take another dimension recently when 33-year-old Nollywood actress, Ebube Nwagbo was hit. She had posted a picture and as usual, followers commented on her good looks. But a certain follower, monalisa22753 said, “Keep on posting while others are getting married every Saturday.”

It definitely touched a nerve in the single actress who dated hip hop sensation, Kingsley Okonkwo, KC of the defunct KC-Presh group, a few years ago.

The sultry actress retorted that: “Keep on poke nosing into people's lives while ur own life eludes you..MIND UR DAMN BUSINESS!!!Busybody How market?????Longest Hiss...” (sic)

Do you blame Ebube for the clap back?

She is single and yet to get hooked. A pretty face with a gorgeous body, Ebube hit the headlines when she was alleged to have had an affair with the Limpopo singer and crashed his marriage. Though married, KC was said to be simultaneously enjoying a private romance with Ebube Nwagbo, a reason many believed contributed immensely to why his marriage crashed.

KC proposed to his wife, Ijeoma Okonkwo, (nee Oduah) in a hot air balloon in Dubai in 2010. They had their traditional wedding in Anambra where he hails from, and a court wedding followed at Apapa Registry witnessed by his younger brother, Emeka, his wife and KC’s former label mate Presh.  The union was blessed with two kids, a boy and a girl.

In an interview in August 2013 with SUNDAY PUNCH, KC confirmed dating Ebube:

Can you clear the air on your marital status and the alleged affair you had with actress, Ebube Nwagbo?

 Most times, I don’t like talking about marriage because it is a private issue.  But to clear the air, I never said I was married or not. The person that did the interview made a mistake. They  asked a simple question about a wedding in Lekki some years back and I told them it was not my wedding, it was E-Money’s wedding.

Were you dating Ebube at the time?

Yes.

Were you married at the time?

(Giggles) I don’t want to talk about it; I think we should move on.

Meanwhile, Kcee has gone back to his wife, Ijeoma Okonkwo. She is quite shy of any public appearance and was last seen at Ubi Franklin and Lillian Esoro’s introduction ceremony in 2015. The ceremony held in Lagos.
