Pres. Buhari Not Sick, He’s Hale And Hearty — Presidency

The Presidency has debunked the report by an online news portal, Premium Times, which indicated that President Muhammadu Buhari was ill.
Premium Times stated that President Buhari was reportedly battling with Meniere disease. This is a disorder of the inner ear which causes episodes of vertigo, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), a feeling of fullness or pressure in the ear, and fluctuating hearing loss.
But another online news portal, The Cable reported that Sai Baba was hale and hearty.

According to The Cable, Femi Adesina, Pres. Buhari's spokesman, while reacting to reports that the president is ill, said: “Didn’t you see pictures of him receiving Anglican bishops yesterday (Friday)? Did he look sick? The president is as fit as a fiddle. Anyone who says he is sick is telling lies. That is a figment of the person’s imagination. Just yesterday he received the primate of the Anglican Communion and arch bishops at the presidential villa. He also received former President Obasanjo. He is hale and hearty. The imagination of whoever says that is on overdrive.”

Responding to why the president has been delegating VP Osinbajo to places he initially planned to visit, Adesina said: “The presidency is one. The president has a right to delegate duties to his deputy, who is the vice-president, and that is what he has done.”
